I have a phpbb 3 site and I keep getting a guy or girl hacking my site, but each way they gets in I stop but it is getting old playing this game with them. I don’t deal with warez or any of that crap I run a very fun site that wants its users to have fun. But this person wants to crap all over it. But what they have been doing is getting in the Admin panel and making themselves an Admin, this is getting old how can I stop this. How can they hack my site? Did they use some remote spy software or something like keylogger? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

It would be really nice to see the location (country, city info) that is displayed on the SPY Visitor page on the Visitor Details page. Maybe just put it to the right of the Hostname.

WassUp is an awesome plugin!!! Thanks much, -Steve

First I want to say, I love your plugin more than several others I have used, still used. If you added a few more things, I'd stop using all others.

First, I would like the IP to be a hotlink, that would lead me to a page that would give me precise IP details, eg: refined geo location, name of ISP. I use this functionality in another stats program where I can configure which service I use. I use InfoSniper because it doesn't have a daily limit.

Second,I would like a configurable option that allows me to consolidate requests from the same IP. A lot of times I will see a grouping of 4 hits, followed by a new record for the same IP with another set of links. It must have something to do when the session expires. Perhaps it is too short.

Forth. I noticed my other program picks up hits that yours did not. This morning you recording activity from a particular IP but some of the activity was missed. (They tried to access pages that were non existent, which leads me to believe that they were trying to find vulnerabilities to hack. I NEED to be able to see that activity so I can block that IP. Had I not seen that on my other analytics tool, then I would not have blocked them.)

Third., I would like to record the same visitor by fingerprint in the event that they are using a dynamic IP.

Otherwise, I think this plugin is wonderful. I love being able to delete records easily. I don't even care that it is AJAX or not. Just the fact that it so easy to delete. I love how I can ignore my own hits and others I don't want to record.

My reference is to WP-Analytics

I don't know if this option is already integrated: know how many people saw a single page/post and show a public visit counter in that page.

is there a function that could be called from the theme to do such thing?

I think this is really a core feature that should be integrated into WassUp.

it would be a great feature to have an option that replaces the "Details for the last" option: The best approach is to offer a calendar to choose two dates, from -> to.

giving only limited options to choose from (1hr, 6hr, 24hrs, 7days..) is good but not the perfect way.

First thanx for this superb plugin, I use it in all my blogs!

What I find missing in WassUp is the ability to view the terms being searched in my site (submited through my blog's search form): I need to know what do people search for once they are in my website, this will help me improve my content.

Of course there's other plugins that do this function (Counterize II) but it would be really great to have all the stats functions centralized in one lovely plugin: WassUp!

I think this will help many people, at least me, since there will always be bots that will not be recognized, but for most of them the plugin is unable to retrieve a resolution. And also for many human visitors, (i guess since many have javascript) the plugin can retrieve a resolution.
So, there can be a filter that filters out visitors that resolution is defined for.

It would be nice to have a display option which would show only real users. I'd like to have on the pull-downs the ability to filter out the logged-in users, bots, spam, etc so that all I get are visitors who aren't logged in. I suppose also non-logged-in and logged in, excluding all else would be useful for many people. I currently have no logged-in users that aren't admins, so non-logged-in visitors are my 'real' traffic. Excellent plug-in! Thanks, -Steve

I am writing a plugin that grabs extra information that wassup currently does not store. I want this plugin to work in conjunction with wassup. In order to do this, it would be extremely helpful to have access to the insert ID of the last record entered by wassup. This would need to be accessible outside of wassup, possibly stored in the session, in order to get it without touching the wassup code. Is this possible at all?

Firstly, what an amazing plugin. Seriously, I am so impressed.

If the ability to track outgoing links is added, it'll be super-impressive ;-)

Honestly, I am on the verge of paying for a solution that gives me the whole drill-down report on all the actions carried out by each visitor to the site... just like yours does. BUT I do need to know which of those visitors also clicks on my outgoing links, which is why I am more than willing to for that 'other' solution.

Here's hoping that feature will make it in a near-future update =) Because if it does... wow.

My blog being relatively new I wished If I could somehow see how much time visitors spend time on the site. As wassup already tracks the visits I thought it would be great to have this feature implemented.

I don`t know how wassup works but I have idea how this could be done. The time could be calculated considering the first page view and last page view. But this wont be too efficient as visitor might have left after one pageview. In this case the Visitor length could be shown as "Insufficient data".

I have uploaded a picture showing the possible space where time can be displayed : http://enli.co.cc/?attachment_id=218

Also new graph/page could be added to report the average time visitors have spent considering specific interval of time. To me this latter feature is a bonus if you guys implement the first request.

I am hoping to hear your thoughts on this idea.

I would love to be able to mark more than one IP so that I can track a couple of particular users visiting my site. Is there any way this can be done?

Would be nice to include ALL Online Users & not just 'Logged-in Users', 'Comments Authors' or 'Spiders/bots'.

Thanks.

I like the wassup plugin but one think is confusing me, and thats when i browse the referrers pages, displaying each referrer separate is really time consuming. So my suggest is when a referrals come from the same source to be displayed under one link as it is on Google Analitycs, check the image below:

http://www.explosivewebdesign.com/images/stats.png

I think that way will be more easier to check and brows your referrers.

Hope you understand me. Thanks

Hi I set up a wordpress site for a game dev framework we developed and sell. I like what wassup does, it's very cool but a lot more powerfull than what I really need.

I was wondering if it would be possible to list specific pages that you want to track users on. In my case we have customers that bought our product and have established a private page to redownload the package or updates from.

I came across wassup whilst looking for something that would enable me to check that it is secure and doing what it should, only users that bought the product are infact accessing the page.

I know my request might not be something of broad interest, I thought I'd ask anyway incase it's an easy thing, or someone knows of a similar more basic plugin which does what I need.

Thanks, the data wassup is very interesting for someone with a new site like mine :)

I use IntenseDebate for my blog's comment system. WassUp can't display 'Comment authors' who wrote comments on my blog. It would be great to have ability to be interlocked with enhanced comment systems such as IntenseDebate, Disqus.

Thanks.

Hi,

First I would like to thank you for providing this fantastic plugin.

I think that it will be easier for us to see the post and category's title on the wassup page instead of their URL. Until now I need to click on them to know which post or which category my visitors watched.

I hope that this change will be integrated in the next version.

Thank you very much.
