First I want to say, I love your plugin more than several others I have used, still used. If you added a few more things, I'd stop using all others.

First, I would like the IP to be a hotlink, that would lead me to a page that would give me precise IP details, eg: refined geo location, name of ISP. I use this functionality in another stats program where I can configure which service I use. I use InfoSniper because it doesn't have a daily limit.

Second,I would like a configurable option that allows me to consolidate requests from the same IP. A lot of times I will see a grouping of 4 hits, followed by a new record for the same IP with another set of links. It must have something to do when the session expires. Perhaps it is too short.

Forth. I noticed my other program picks up hits that yours did not. This morning you recording activity from a particular IP but some of the activity was missed. (They tried to access pages that were non existent, which leads me to believe that they were trying to find vulnerabilities to hack. I NEED to be able to see that activity so I can block that IP. Had I not seen that on my other analytics tool, then I would not have blocked them.)

Third., I would like to record the same visitor by fingerprint in the event that they are using a dynamic IP.

Otherwise, I think this plugin is wonderful. I love being able to delete records easily. I don't even care that it is AJAX or not. Just the fact that it so easy to delete. I love how I can ignore my own hits and others I don't want to record.

My reference is to WP-Analytics

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The codex doc was not one that I was familiar with and I found it very informative. Though WassUp's cookie domain is correct as it is, we will comply with WordPress' COOKIE_DOMAIN usage and add it to future versions.

Hi, I just had a closer look at your plugin. I think I spotted an error: in the wassup.php file, I see at line 1430 $cookiedomain = preg_replace('/^www\./','',$cookieurl['host']);

This should be using the COOKIE_DOMAIN constant: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Set_Cookie_Domain

Another option to PHPSESSID would help me, too, as it's munging my munged address! I'm using http://www.addressmunger.com/ to munge addresses and the email mailto: becomes a big PHPSESSID URL and won't email. Thanks.

We are thinking to replace WassUp sessions with another way to do it.
Stay tuned.

Hello.
I appreciate your plugin, but I have a suggestion.
Please, can you disable PHPSESSID? It is being called twice by this plugin… This is a problem, but not “my problem”. “My” problem is the cache-control! When PHPSESSID is active, it puts many “no-cache” commands in the header of each page, increasing bandwidth.
Look the header of your site: ( http://network-tools.com/default.asp?prog=httphead&host=www.wpwp.org )
