Caching greatly improves speed, however it can cause outdated data to continue to show up until the cache is cleared. Buffering could have caused a delay between the delete requests and actual deletion. </p> <p>The next time you delete spam hits, re-click the "visitor details" menu selection afterwards to load the latest hits again and make sure that the delete worked. This allows WassUp to distinguish spammer hits from regular visitors.</p> <p>To stop WassUp from logging spam hits, go to WassUp-Options, "Statistics Recording" tab and uncheck "Record Akismet spam attempts".
