Hello All,

I have been having this issue for the longest time now, most of the time I get the following error showing at the bottom of my site: "Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /home/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php on line 3954"

I have followed helene's temporary fix listed here http://www.wpwp.org/forums/topic/warning-preg_match-wassupphp-on-line-3954 but am unable to open up any of the Option tabs. As you can see from this screenshot here http://ompldr.org/vOHY1MA the tabs look unusual than they should. Clicking any of the Options results in nothing happening, preventing me from disabling those options listed in the temporary fix.

I have removed the WassUp plugin, cleared cache & cookies from browser, re-installed WassUp and tried opening the Options with no luck still. The WassUp database was successfully re-created/upgraded upon receiving a "Wassup : database created/upgraded successfully" message.

Is there anything different I can try? I don't know PHP well enough to debug the issue on line 3954. Please let me know if there is further information you need, I hope I have been descriptive. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

UPDATE: I was able to disable the options as listed in the temporary fix by helene using another laptop with a different browser, but after I saved my settings on this laptop and came back to the Wassup options on the laptop that let me save my options, the original problem returned.

Kind Regards,

Anthony

I am getting the error, "Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /home/content/c/r/a/(path)/html/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php on line 2421" underneath several NextGEN Gallery imagebrowsers. I have posted this error in the NextGEN forums as well but I am not sure if it is their issue or a Wassup issue. The error disappears when Wassup is deactivated. Any help would be much appreciated!

First thanx for this superb plugin, I use it in all my blogs!

What I find missing in WassUp is the ability to view the terms being searched in my site (submited through my blog's search form): I need to know what do people search for once they are in my website, this will help me improve my content.

Of course there's other plugins that do this function (Counterize II) but it would be really great to have all the stats functions centralized in one lovely plugin: WassUp!

Hello,

I am creating a membership site and I have WishList Members installed.

We want to track individual user activity on our site. Wassup seems to do the job but it does not seem to log the persons username or userid, just the IP address. Any ideas?

Thank you,

Like I mentioned in this post above - I want to continue using WassUp but I need to put in it some code allowing it not to be cached

I am owner of my own server and I can access all data on it - I can change all files but I don’t know exactly how

In FAQ - about WP Super Cache - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/faq/ , they have something about - How do I make certain parts of the page stay dynamic, but I can’t implement it into wassup –

Maybe - (just maybe) it will be interesting to implement this into original code of this plugin with simple button allowing that anybody can disallow cache with just one simple click of mouse (if there is some universal strings for that and if somebody have caching plugin or software for that) - if not I will appreciated whatever help I can get here. I hope somebody will help me with pointing me what to change with what and in what file on my wordpress installation (WassUp installation)

Thanks in advance

Hi there. Today I found this great plugin, but I have little problem.
I am using Mingle. It loads a javascript in the header. The problem is that it is shown in wassup and I don't want this.
Instead of seeng the normal post that the visitor is going, I see this:
/index.php?plugin=mingle&controller=js&action=mingle&ver=2.8.6
Can someone help me solving this?
Thanks

I am using WP 2.8.4. After upgrading to Wassup 1.7.2, and attempting to activate, I get a fatal error. This makes the Plugins page blank, and the only way to get it back is to go to the server and delete the wassup directory. I then uploaded a clean copy (instead of overwriting the old), and attempted to activate - got the same probfatal error.

After upgrading my Wordpress to the newest 2.8 release, I found that Wassup doesn't record any stats. When I pull up the main Wassup page in my dashboard, the chart says, "Too few records to print chart..." Also, I noticed that the data above where the chart should be shows nothing - not zeros - just a blank space. When I looked at the Wassup options, I saw that my table size is zero. "Current WassUp table usage is: 0,00 Mb ( records)" I tried reinstalling the plugin, but no joy. Any ideas on why this is?

--I also tried the fix in http://www.wpwp.org/forums/topic/wassup-17-does-not-show-any-data, but no luck.

Hi,

Sadly it seems that your Wordpress Plug-in WassUp Version 1.7.1 breaks the Dashboard Screen Options in Wordpress 2.8 .

That is to say, that after activating WassUp Version 1.7.1 when running on Wordpress Version 2.8 that Screen Options no longer works on the Dashboard.

Nothing happens when you click on Screen Options. If I disable the plug-in, it works again just fine.

Thanks,

Will

Looking at my chart in the visitor details tab it is giving me details up to seven hours ago. In other words it is 7am here and I'm only getting the chart details up to midnight last night. As far as I know it has always done this, but I would think I should be able to view the chart up to the current time. Is there some setting that I am missing? In my wordpress Options -> General tab the time is set correctly.
