Call to undefined function pregi_replace()

Hi

I have recently upgraded my WordPress 2.5.1 site to use the latest Wassup version 1.6.1. I am now regularly getting the following error when trying to open any pages on my Web Site as I have the Wassup sidebar widget enabled.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function pregi_replace() in /websites/LinuxPackage04/ro/ms/ey/romseyclimbers.org.uk/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php on line 2694

Could you please take a look and advise?

hi,

just change the function-name from "pregi_replace" to "preg_replace".
i think that was a typo.

Walter is right about it being a typo. I think the correct function is 'eregi_replace', not 'preg_replace', though.

..any chance there will be update with fix issued soon (Wordpress auto-update)?

I am also randomly getting this error

(the 'eregi_replace' fix does work, I just hate to be messing with other peoples good work if I can avoid it... that murphy's law thing always seem to get me!)
