I am facing a problem with Wassup on my website: Apparently, someone added my blog to his RSS feeds (looks like he's using Liferea 1.4), and every time I post anything his reader starts to hammer my site for updates at a rate of about once per 5 minutes for several days.
The problem is that Wassup logs all of these attempts, and fills up my view with false visitations rather quickly.
I attempted to exclude the RSS URLs from being logged, but it didnt help. I tried adding:
http://<my domain name, removed>/?feed=rss2
/?feed=rss2
?feed=rss2
But.. no go. Is there a better way to filter these hits out of my log? Otherwise, would you consider adding the ability to filter RSS feeds from being logged?
