Hey there,
Has anyone compared the WassUp stats with the numbers of other stat tools? I'd be interested in how big the differences are.
Oh, and does WassUp tracking rely on Java Script or will it also track people who have it disabled?

Every statistics tools have their own method to record items, WassUp gathers a lot of information including (if it's set) attack attempt, spam, spiders, etc... so this could be little more then other tools. If someone could report his own experience with other tools, we will appreciate it.
With version 1.4.5 WassUp gathers every hits in our blogs, with or without cookies enabled (javascript is not important to get items).
I tried before, and use actually many statistic tools (some WP plugins too), and I realized, that WassUp is the most accurate tool I ever seen.
If feed stats would be separated, it would be perfect.
I saw the ticket for it, so we are not far! :)

Wassup may not be recording your visitors. Go to the Wassup menu ==> Options and click on the [Statistics Recording] Tab. The 1st item is "Enable/Disable recording". This must be selected.

I was wondering what Wassup counts as a "Page View". Are these individual page loads (including refreshes etc.) or hits on a page? Sometimes the difference between what Wassup says and another plugin like Slim-Stat says is significant. Wassup could be 3-8 times what the other traffic plugins report. Which one is correct. It would help if I understood how Wassup tracks visitors and page views and how it defines each.

rtiger pages are avery single post or page loaded. It doens't count hits to images, scripts and so on.
