No Longer Tracking Properly

Wassup's been working fine and all of a sudden (with no changes to my blog other than new posts) the plug in stopped tracking visits appropriately. My visitor number crashed. Typically, the number of visitors captured by Wassup was much higher than Google Analytics and now it is much lower. Did something change?

Any thoughts?

Your problem is strange and tough to diagnose without more info. Here are some hints:
- double-check that WassUp is still recording in "Options=>Statistics Recording".
- possible wassup data or index corruption may have occurred (can happen when MySQL server goes down during middle of a transaction, or if a disk error occurred, or through malicious code). This is fixable using "phpMyAdmin" or you can completely uninstall WassUp (purge Wassup data) and start anew.
  I recommend that you backup (or export) your current wassup table before doing either.
- your ISP may have changed the default MySQL or PHP settings and it is affecting WassUp.
