   I see the following Warning on my WP login page:

   Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in public_html/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php on line 3954

   How can I either fix this issue or not display the warning?

   This warning is triggered in certain server configurations when WassUp checks for referrer spam. The quick fix is to disable Referrer spam checking in WassUp. Go to WassUp ==> Options ==> [Statistics Recording] tab and UNcheck "Record referrer spam attempts", then click [Save Settings].
