Explaining the situation further, when acquiring a google maps api key, i went to the version 3 page (know that was the wrong thing to do now). Javascript code was generated, which was the only thing I could see to do as it said one no longer needed a key, only I didn't know what else to do. so, I returned to the space where one enters the api key in wassup and entered the javascript code there instead. Then the error started. I have since tried to delete and reinstall wassup, cleared its tables from my database. But, I still get the same error message as earlier. I tried kvesta's fix, but am unsure if I put the line in at the wrong spot, or not. It generated another error message and my site also temporarily crashed. I was able to recover it by again uninstalling wassup, clearing the tables from my database and reinstalling it. But, I still get the first error message in my first posting above. Would really like to get the options functional again by sorting this problem. Could it be as simple as finding out where the java that I entered in the form got stored? Or if fixing the code as kvesta mentioned would be best, I am willing to try that again. I just do not know where to insert the bit of code.
