I tried to upgrade to the recent version of WassUp and now I find a "Temporary files location folder" problem. I am asked to alter the "session.save path in php.ini" and I don't have a clue where to go to make a change.
Can anyone suggest a possible path to set up this new temporary file the new version of WassUp is asking for?

"php.ini" is in your website root directory. But you don't need to edit that file to fix this. Just go to Wassup admin menu ==>Options ==>Manage Files&Database tab and modify the value in "Temporary files location folder". Try using "/tmp" or if that doesn't work, make a "temp" directory in your website root folder and use that instead. The instructions are also in the Wiki documentation.

If I type /tmp in the Manage Files&Databse box, will that do it or do I need a more complete path? I tried /tmp and that still is not working.
I did not find the instruction in Wiki sufficiently complete to correct this problem.

Glad that Wassup is now working again on your blog.
FYI. The "Temporary Files Location folder" path is always good unless it is in red. I should have added that you need to manually enable recording in the "Statistics Recording" Options tab, afterwards. I am so used to Wassup's options, that I forget the obvious.
Because of this problem, we're planning to remove the "Temporary files" from Wassup soon.
