user not recognized properly

I'm using WassUp 1.6.2 on WP 2.6.1 and I restricted my blog access to signed up users only by a different plug-in. Nevertheless, there is a remarkable amount of unknown users recorded even if no spam or spiders are logged though. The supposed unrecognized users contribute to more than the half of all tracked activity which is hard to believe for me. The plug-in to restrict the user access works well and my blog is known only under my 30 something registered users.
I'll appreciate any help or advices relating to this issue.

Sascha please let me know what is the plugin you used to limit access, may be it could conflict with WassUp.

Hi Michele,

Thanks for your response.
This plugin is called 'Members Only'. I'm using it in version 0.6.5.
I analyzed the occurencies a little bit. Do you think that it is possible that overlayed advertisement by my hosting provider could cause these entries?
