Hi all, I'm new to this, but have a question. I'm ussing WassUp for my blog's stat tracking, which went live a couple days ago. Had a great day yesterday with about 2000 page views, but noticed today that the total number of visitors and page views are actually lower than what they were yesterday. I have my view set for the last 24 hours, but how am I losing page views from my "total" count that I've gotten so far?

It's possible that your site was crawled by a bot or sitemap software. Unless you exclude "spiders" in Wassup options, bots visits are recorded and can trigger very high visit counts in WassUp that don't last. Google, Yahoo and MSN bots distribute their crawling over several hours, keeping counts even. Other (typically bad) bots will crawl your entire site in 1 short visit, making visit counts spike then drop off. You should go to your Visitor Detail and select "Show items by:" [No Spam, No Spider] to see what your real visit count is like. To see your cumulative visit count, select "Summary for last:" [7 days].
